Meta AI is a service that you can use on WhatsApp with your friends. Everyone in the group chat can see what you say to Meta AI and what it says back to you. 

You can also use Meta AI on other apps that belong to Meta, like Facebook Messenger and Instagram Direct Messages.

How to Get Early Access

On WhatsApp

• Open the app called WhatsApp.
• Tap the button in the top-right corner to start a new chat.
• Tap the option that says New AI Chat.
• Tap the option that says Request early access.

On Instagram

• Open the app called Instagram.
• Tap the button in the top-right corner to start a new chat.
• Tap the option that says AI Chat at the top.

Use Meta AI in a WhatsApp group chat

To use Meta AI in a group chat, do this:

• Open the group chat.
• Tap the chat of the person or group you want to talk to.
• Type @ in the box where you write messages.
• Tap the option that says Meta AI.
• If it asks you to agree to something, tap yes.
• Write what you want to say to Meta AI and tap Send.
• You will see Meta AI’s answer in the chat.

To use Meta AI on Messenger, do this:

• Open a chat with someone.
• Type @ and tap the option that says Meta AI.
• Write what you want to say to Meta AI, like a question or a joke.

Chat with AI friends: These are fake characters that are like famous people and creators. Some of the characters are:

Bru: He likes to talk about sports, and he is like Tom Brady Zach: He is like a big brother, and he is like Mr Beast

Tamika: She loves anime and dressing up, and she is like Naomi Osaka

2. Ask for more details: Use commands like @MetaAI. Can you explain more? To get more information about what you are talking about,

/ai-options: It will show you the commands you can use.

Imagine: It will make a picture based on what you write.

Why can’t I access Meta AI yet?

Meta AI is not in all countries yet. So, the only way to use it early is to get the beta version of the app from the Play and App Store. This way, you might be able to chat with Meta AI; otherwise, you might have to wait for some more time to use it
